看新闻学英语：“跨越式发展”怎么说

　　在上面的报道中，leapfrog development就是“跨越式发展”。leapfrog一词的原义是“跳背游戏”，在这里是比喻用法。我们在形容迅猛发展时也常用develop by leaps and bounds(突飞猛进地发展)这个表达。

　　要实现“跨越式发展”，就需要把speed up the transformation of the economic growth pattern(加快经济发展方式转变)， maintain a stable and relatively rapid development(保持经济平稳较快发展) 以及 rejuvenate the old industrial base(振兴老工业基地)这三项工作有机结合起来。

　　有的领域适合突进式发展，而有些领域则适合progressive development(渐进式发展)，关键是要坚持Scientific Outlook on Development(科学发展观)，实现sound and fast development(又好又快发展)。
